Sun Tan City, the fastest growing tanning salon chain in the country and premier operator of indoor tanning centers, is currently accepting applications for a part-time entry level marketing position. Applicants with a strong commitment to excellence, desire to learn and superior client service skills need only apply. The Brand Specialist will serve as a local representation of a national brand, and is crucial to the reputation and success of Sun Tan City. This job will be expected to complete the following functions. This is not an all-inclusive list. This job may be assigned other functions or tasks. This is meant to be a general description of the most essential functions only.

Serve as the Company’s representative in the community by promoting a positive image of the company and generating interest in the Company’s services.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure a competitive edge.
Distribute provided marketing material on a regular and reoccurring basis to get out in the community and promote our brand.
Sharing ideas with supervisors about new ways to promote the brand.
Assist in maintaining media databases.
Engage with local business to generate new partnership leads and raise awareness about the company’s services and locations.
Identify new leads and cultivate relationships with both new and existing referring providers within the target market. Utilize strategic thinking and industry knowledge to expand our local partnerships and participation in local events.
A proactive self-starter with excellent multitasking abilities. Must be able to independently manage a variety of tasks and priorities.

Requirements (Education, Certifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Own means of transportation required.
Proven experience in planning and executing successful sales & marketing campaigns.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Excellent presentation and oratory skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to multitask multiple practices with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organization, problem solving, planning, and time management skills.
Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis.
Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
